Email Verification
This article will guide you step by step on how to use the integrated email verification functionality in Mailerfind. Validating your email lists before sending your campaigns is crucial for maintaining a good sender reputation, avoiding high bounce rates, and improving your email deliverability.
Before we dive into the process, it's important to understand why email verification is a recommended practice:
Reduces bounce rate: Sending emails to invalid or inactive addresses increases your bounce rate, which can damage your sender reputation with email providers (such as Gmail, Hotmail, etc.).
Improves deliverability: Email providers are more likely to mark emails from senders with high bounce rates as spam. Verifying your list helps ensure that your messages reach your recipients' inboxes.
Improves the quality of your data: A clean and verified email list provides you with more accurate and reliable data for your future campaigns.
Currently, we have MillionVerifier available, and we will add more verification platform options in the future. If you don't yet know how to link it, you can follow the instructions found here.
Once your MillionVerifier account is connected to Mailerfind, you can start validating your email lists:
Within the Emails section in Mailerfind, select the campaign (previously created) whose contact list you want to verify.

Click on the Email Validation option.

You will be asked which validation service you want to use.
Click the Validate button.

The validation process will begin. The speed will depend on the size of your list. For small lists, the process is usually quite fast.

Once the validation is complete, Mailerfind will show you a summary of the results. The summary will include:
The total number of emails in the list.
The number of valid emails.
The number of emails with unknown status. These emails could not be definitively classified as good or bad. They are not necessarily bad, but there is some uncertainty.
The number of invalid emails. These are the emails that are recommended not to use, as they will likely generate bounces.

Mailerfind will not send emails to addresses marked as invalid when running your campaigns. This helps prevent bounces and protect your reputation.
In the Summary section, within the analysis you just verified, you will be able to see the status of each email in the preview. Correct emails, invalid emails, and those where their status could not be determined with certainty will be visually marked.

Mailerfind is designed to optimize the validation process as your email list grows:
If you resume an analysis and obtain new emails, you will not have to re-validate the entire list from scratch.
Mailerfind will identify the new emails and allow you to perform a new validation using MillionVerifier only for those newly added addresses.
Go back to the Emails section and select the campaign with the list you want to validate.
Start a new validation as you did before.
Mailerfind and the verification platform you choose to work with will work together to verify only the new email addresses in the list.
The results will be updated in your Mailerfind control panel, indicating the status of the new emails (valid, unknown, invalid).
Take advantage of this functionality to get the best results in your email sends with Mailerfind!
