# Follow-up Emails in Mailerfind

### What are follow-up emails?

Follow-up emails are automatic messages sent to your contacts **when they haven’t replied to the first email** you sent.

They are a key part of any prospecting strategy because many times the first email gets lost, isn’t read, or is simply overlooked. With one or two well-written reminders, response rates usually increase significantly.

### What are they for?

👉 **Increase visibility** of your message
👉 **Boost response rates** without extra manual work
👉 **Help you close more leads**, because sometimes it just takes a little persistence (done right)

### How to create a follow-up email in Mailerfind

### What do these options mean when setting up a follow-up email?

In email campaigns, not all contacts open or interact with your first message. To avoid losing those opportunities, you can set up a **follow-up email**, like the one shown in the example.

Here’s what each option means:

#### ✉️ **Email to follow up (main email)**

Select the original email (the first one you sent). The system will use it as the basis to determine who should receive the follow-up.

#### 🔍 **Follow-up mode**

Two ways to segment your audience:

🔹 **“Recipients who did not open the main email”**

Perfect for trying again with a different subject line or angle. Maybe they were busy or just not drawn in by the first subject.

🔹 **“Recipients who opened but did not click the main email”**

These people saw your email but didn’t take action. Here, you can try a clearer call-to-action or add an incentive.

🟣 Ready to ship

### Examples of follow-up emails

#### 📩 1. **For those who did NOT open the main email**

**Subject:** Did you see the email I sent you?
**Body:**
Hi,
I sent you an email a few days ago, but just in case you didn’t see it, here it is again.
I think it might interest you and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Happy to chat anytime :)
Best regards,
[Your Name]

#### 🖱️ 2. **For those who DID open the email but DID NOT click**

**Subject:** Would what I proposed work for you?
**Body:**
Hi,
I noticed you opened my previous email, so I wanted to know if what I suggested worked for you.
I believe it could bring you great value and save you a lot of time if applied properly.
If you’d like more details, I’d be happy to explain how you could get the most out of it.
Shall we take a look together?
Best regards,
[Your Name]
