What is Smartlead?

You need a Smartlead account to connect Mailerfind with Smartlead. You can create an account here.

Activate the integration



From the Mailerfind control panel, go to integrations.
Find Smartlead.
Click on "Connect App".



Enter your API Key.

Where do I find my API Key?



You can find your Smartlead API Key by following these steps:

Go to your Smartlead account.
Click on your profile picture (top right).
Click on "Settings".

Go to the Smartlead API Key section and copy the key.

Paste it into Mailerfind and save the changes.

How do I disconnect or undo the integration?



To disconnect the integration, you need to do the following:

From the Mailerfind control panel, go to integrations.
Find Smartlead.
Click on "Unlink".

Can I export as many analyses as I want?

Yes, you can export as many analyses as you wish, as long as you keep in mind the maximum lead limit available in your Smartlead account. It is important to ensure that the number of leads you want to import is less than or equal to the number of free leads you have in your current Smartlead plan. Otherwise, you will need to adjust your plan or manage your existing leads before continuing with the import.

Can I export the analysis if it is not yet complete?

Yes, you can export an analysis even if it is not complete, there is no problem with that. However, keep in mind that if new leads are added to the analysis in Mailerfind in the future, you will need to perform the export manually again. Mailerfind will automatically detect the leads that were not included in the initial export and add them to the corresponding campaign in Smartlead. This way, a reference is saved, and you will always have your campaigns updated.

How long does it take for all the data to be exported to Smartlead?

The export time is very fast: up to 21,000 leads are processed per minute. This means that even for large volumes of data, the integration ensures an efficient and agile transfer to your campaigns in Smartlead.

Is all the data exported?

No, only contacts with a valid email are exported. This is because leads without an email address cannot be used in Smartlead campaigns, so it would be unnecessary to include them in the export.

Why have fewer contacts been imported than appear in Mailerfind?

This can be due to several reasons related to exclusion and validation settings in Mailerfind and Smartlead. Some contacts are not imported because:

They are on the global blocklist: Leads that have been globally blocked by the community.

They have been blocked by the community due to bounces: Emails that other users have identified as invalid.

They are invalid emails: Email addresses that do not pass validation.

They already exist in other campaigns: Leads that are already associated with previous campaigns in Smartlead.

These settings ensure that only valid and relevant contacts are imported, optimizing your campaigns and avoiding issues such as bounces or duplicates.

Is the integration different for each project?

Yes, the integration is unique for each project within the platform. Projects are designed with agencies that manage multiple clients in mind. This means you can connect a different Smartlead account for each project, ideal if your clients have their own Smartlead accounts.

It is important to note that you will need to connect an individual Smartlead account for each project, thus ensuring independent and personalized management for each client within your agency.
